"Paul helped me prepare for a week long expedition in the Arctic this year. He listened to my constraints and provided a holistic & sustainable program that allowed me to arrive at the start line fully prepped in mind and body.
I completed the challenge to ski a 180km section of the trail in Arctic Sweden in 96 hours (4 days), pulling a sledge weight of at least 50kg. There were a couple of thousand feet of climb on average across the days and there were no refuge huts and next to no trail markers so I needed to be efficient and totally self sufficient. Physically being as light as possible whilst still being strong was important. Mentally I needed a positive mindset with a good dollop of resilience when things didn’t go to plan.

I needed to improve my fitness, particularly my endurance on the bike as well as improving my mobility due to some hip and back injuries that left me lacking flexibility.
Paul also encouraged me to improve my nutrition to help with my training and improve my body composition. The results were excellent! I reduced my body fat, particularly around my torso, whilst gaining muscle. My blood pressure and resting heart rate reduced as did my metabolic age.
The changes resulted in several podium finishes throughout the year, a top 10 finish in the overall season and winner of sportsman of the year! I am still going strong several years later and still racing thanks to the success of this year."
